Parent survey on SEN provision in Dudley

Over the next couple of years Inspectors from Ofsted and CQC (Care Quality Commission) will be inspecting the Borough Council and Health services in Dudley to see how well they identify children's special educational needs and/or disabilities, how well they meet those needs and how effectively they improve outcomes for those children and young people.

The views of parents are a very important part of the inspection and so they will be meeting parents on their visits and also holding meetings with parent representatives including Working Together For Change as the parent carer forum.  We do not know how soon the inspection will take place, it can happen at any time with just a few days notice.

We are asking you to complete this survey now for two reasons, A) So that inspectors really know what life is like for families in Dudley and B) To ensure that the Parent Carer Forum members can continue to work with the Local Authority and Health to improve services and communication.   This survey will help us to reflect the views of a wide group of parents.  The survey should take no more than 5 minutes to complete and the information you give us is confidential and anonymous.
