Special Needs Support Workers (Extended Hours)

The Governors of Old Park School are looking to recruit a number of Special Needs Support Workers to support the emotional, physical and sensory needs of pupils within a class/phase group. These staff will support pupils in accessing curriculum activities such as swimming, rebounding and other physical activities, both on and off-site, whilst also assisting during the lunchtime period.

Level 3 Teaching Assistants

The Governors of Old Park School are looking to recruit a suitably qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our highly successful school team. The successful candidate must have an NVQ Level 3 equivalent or above in childcare/child development or education.

We welcome volunteers in school and appreciate the time and expertise you can give. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the school office to find out more.

We also offer placements for students undertaking training in roles we have in school such as student teachers and teaching assistant students. Work experience placements are also offered, but please give us as much notice as possible for these!

All volunteers are required to have an enhanced DBS and undertake a variety of roles in school, depending on experience and availability. We have clear induction procedures for all volunteers and students to ensure everyone understands and adheres to our ethos.
